I know we are all in this era of self-providing information.
What do I mean?
Funny right?
If you take it seriously, it seems that people nowadays including me are fine studying or researching almost everything using Google. Our Big Brother!
Sa office dati, me and my colligues are looking for or wanting a certfication for the benefit of work and self.
But we could not afford it.. Maliit lang sweldo eh, minsan kulang pa..
So sabi ko, "Eh certificed naman tayo! GCE! (Google Certified Engineer)"..
Magaling na yata tayong lahat sa pag-goGoogle lang ng any topics and questions in mind.
But that's not my point.
Let me tell you a real story sa isang Facebook Group..
A neophyte aspiring IT posted a question "May installer po ba ang Linux?", I'm not sure kung wala pa syang experience or just confused.
He said he wanted to use Kali Linux as a beginner. (Kali is for intermediate and advanced users, btw)
Some replied good information..
Some made short valid steps but it appeared to him as high level.
He had more questions..
And some told him to start with the Basics!
Google mo yan..
Most of the time, everyone is busy sa work, sa school or other projects.
They cannot always answer you right away.. And you need to get some time to research by yourself.
Then he asked for any links they can provide..
Apparently no one gave him a link.
Sad to say but it's the reality, you need to work on your own.
Learn by experience..
Learn by reading
Learn by mistakes..
Ang kagandahan lang, you have that determination to finish your course
You want it, because you need it.
Whether it needs a lot of time of learning, or costs you money. It's an investment.
We should really invest on education.
If you got stuck, ask again, why you need it.
But if you are an neophyte, you need to be:
You are the best! I know that!
I hope you got something today. See you around next time!
Let me know sa comments.

If you got stuck, ask again, why you need it.
But if you are an neophyte, you need to be:
- Aware of the group of people na busy at madami nang experience.
- Careful of your words
- Ask nicely and always listen to answers and carry them along
- Accept the answers and take it as challenge
- Always find resource before you ask, "hanggat maaari, na-google mo muna bago ka magtanong if stuck ka na"
- Always ready to learn, ask more!
